Bowen Therapy
I started my visits to
Dr. Macdonald because of a slow recovery I was
having from an inner ear infection that had left me
with vertigo and fatigue. I was skeptical when she
described the Bowen treatment to me as a help for my
problems, but reluctantly agreed to a series of
treatments over a number of weeks.
A few days after my second treatment, it occurred to
me that I had had 2 or 3 days when I felt what I
called ‘normal’, not constantly aware of tiredness
and of being ‘unwell’.
In the waiting room on the day of my next scheduled
appointment, I almost went home before the treatment
because of not feeling well. Immediately after the
treatment and as I walked to my car, I experienced a
sense of normalcy and well being that I could hardly
believe. At that point it was clear to me that the
Bowen treatments were responsible for this
improvement in my energy level and until my vitality
returned to a more consistent level. I continued to
come in for treatments.
I was of course doing a number of things to improve
my health, but the Bowen treatments brought about
the most dramatic results.
